Selezione musicale 112 – Cream Sunshine Of Your Love
Non sono del tutto certo, ma credo che il termine supergruppo sia stato coniato proprio per i Cream, o comunque loro furono tra i primi ad essere identificati in questo modo.
Un giorno Eric Clapton (chitarra), Jack Bruce (basso) e Ginger Baker (batteria), tutti con una precedente carriera, decisero di unirsi per formare un gruppo che su forti basi blues ha innestato rock, hard rock e psichedelia. La loro carriera va dal 1966 al 1968, tre anni nei quali pubblicarono tre album di grande successo.
Sunshine of Your Love è del 1967 pubblicata sull’album Disraeli Gears. Il video è la testimonianza del “farewell tour”, tour di addio dei Cream con il concerto finale alla Royal Albert Hall di Londra il 26 Novembre 1968.
