Meredith Brooks è una cantautrice e chitarrista statunitense. Ha alle spalle una significativa gavetta musicale iniziata negli anni ’80 che culmina entrando nel gruppo The Graces.
Ma è con la pubblicazione a suo nome dell’album Blurring the Edges nel 1997, e in particolare con il singolo Bitch a raggiungere il successo internazionale. Da allora ha pubblicato altri 5 dischi, senza ottenere però  altrettanto successo.
