I Marcy Playground sono una band americana di alternative rock, che nel 1997 raggiunge la popolarità internazionale con il singolo Sex and Candy. Da allora il gruppo ha pubblicato 4 album senza però riuscire a replicare il successo e andando incontro ad un progressivo smantellamento tanto che l’ultimo disco è in effetti opera del solo cantante/chitarrista mantenedo il nome del gruppo.
